While it is popular opinion that cats clean themselves properly, cats lick and spread saliva which causes grease build up on the cat’s coat resulting in the shedding coat to be trapped in formed clumps.
In order to prevent the clumps of hair, and or even the nice hairballs that your kitty throws up or unfortunately builds up in their stomach potentially causing blockage, we highly suggest having your cat properly bathed every 4-6 weeks.
Due to excessive matting, Pelting will occur leaving your Cat’s skin and coat subject to sores, fleas, bald spots, dander, skin infections and many other conditions.
